2026
My methodology has always been to explore and collect, guided by intuition instead of strictly by reason. I'm first informed by my environment, seeking to articulate deeper connections to it. My projects unfold over many years. They remain open and evolving, reflecting the slow accumulation of experience.

Central to my work is an inquiry into what I think of as the metaphorical ontology of place: how territory, ecology, and atmosphere form a structure of meaning. The work is my attempt to understand and communicate the spirit or identity of the subject or the environment.

I choose to examine and excavate emotions tied directly to my surroundings. The external world is not merely a backdrop, it is an active participant to our existence. The artwork then becomes a register of this internal and external dynamic, a record of how the atmosphere shapes the self.
